	The courses offered by the UCFV History Department reconstruct the historical origins of our society, including Western Civilization, North America (in terms of the aboriginal and immigrant experience), and the Developing World (Emphasizing Asia and Latin America). Emphasis is also placed on political and economic history, social/cultural history, intellectual history, applied history, and the history of gender, sexuality, and the family.
