The B.A. in History will explore the people, places and ideas of the past. Students will learn specific life skills, such as how to ask the right questions, how to find answers, how to think logically, how to write and express oneself with precision and imagination. Courses in Canadian, American, British and European History will consider a variety of historical themes and issues. As well, there are specialized study options focusing on the rich heritage of Atlantic Canada. Graduates of this program will be oriented toward careers in teaching, law, politics, heritage preservation, journalism and ministry.
